My name is Joseph Schmidt, and I'm the writer of this blog named "The Workforce". I'm in my senior year of college, and I graduate in May 2024 with a bachelors degree in Communications.

Enrolled at Houghton University since 2020, I've had quite the few challenges on the road to earning and graduating with a Communications degree. The biggest definitely had to have been the Covid-19 pandemic, but I made it through and I'm definitely ready to keep going!

Now that I'm in my last semester and preparing to graduate, this is one of my final challenges between me and earning my degree. So to me, this blog isn't just another project, but it's a culmination of all the skills and knowledge I've gained over the last 4 years here at Houghton. What can I say? I aim to impress!
